If you’ve spent some time in the forest, you’ve probably seen a tree mushroom before. These ornate and often multi-colored organisms grow only on living or decomposing trees, and there is large variety of them in the world’s forests.
But did you know that many of these are superfoods?
In today’s video, I am joined by special guest Tero Isokauppila, a Finnish wildcrafter who is on a mission to bring medicinal mushrooms to the world. He and I delve into 3 of the most powerful tree mushrooms yet known and the conditions they treat. We also discuss their ancestral origins and the scientific support for their use.
